This wedding was simply stunning. It was our first time at House for An Art Lover and as we always do we went to check it out the day before, and that got us really excited for Jude and Ben's wedding there. The building and grounds are so beautiful, no matter where you are you know you are going to get great photos.
The day started off with Jude at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow for her morning preparations. There was a lovely calm atmosphere, no obvious nerves and just lots of excitement for the day ahead. Jude and Ben's gorgeous five month old daughter Emma was there to provide some cute photo opportunities and she's just a wee darling. One thing that made this wedding so special was that Jude's Mum made her wedding dress for her and it was absolutely beautiful. It had a vintage feel, gorgeous details and lots of sparkle. Jude looks stunning in it.
Once everyone was ready the cars arrived and as a surprise there had been a Campervan arranged for Jude to travel in which she was absolutely delighted with!
They had a really lovely humanist ceremony followed by drinks and canapes while we got on with the group photos and bridal portraits.
The evening entertainment was provided by "The Unknowns" who really got the party going and everyone had an amazing time!
Here are some of our favourite photos from their day. What we really noticed on the day and while editing the images was that Jude and Ben are just so perfect for each other. Jude told us how spending the night apart from each other felt really strange and that she was really missing him. As soon as they saw each other again they had the biggest smiles ever on their faces and it stayed that way for the rest of the day. Ben makes Jude laugh, and it's absolutely clear to everyone around them how in love they are.
