6th September saw Jamie and Emma get married at Arta in Glasgow. This venue is absolutely amazing. It's difficult to comprehend the size of the building from the tiny doors you walk into on the street. When you think you've seen it all there's more stairs or another room to look at. It is mainly candlit which provides a beautiful ambient atmosphere. It was our first time here and we loved it. David, the wedding co-ordinator and his staff couldn't have been more helpful.
We absolutely loved the styling of this wedding. Jamie's relaxed suit and Emma's stunning dress complimented each other so well. They looked gorgeous together and these are some of our favourite wedding photos we've done so far. We do love when we get a lovely scenic wedding but it was a fantastic change to wander around the streets of Glasgow and do something a little bit different.
It was a small wedding with 25 guests, and so the seating for the meal was all at one table. This created a lovely intimate feel and the speeches really meant something to everyone who was there. One thing we loved during the best man's speech, in amongst the funny stories, was that Jamie and Emma were inseparable from when they very first got together that they became known as Jemma - way before any of the celebrities had blended names!
Lots more of Jamie and Emma's friends and family arrived for the evening reception and as they crowded round for the first dance, watching their descent down the stairs and then the stunning petal drop, you could feel how happy everyone was for them.
Here are some of our favourite images from the day.
